Registered in 2003, Uttoron is an IRS 501(C)(3) non-profit organization of People of Bengal based in Greater Seattle area of Northwest USA. The word Uttoron means UPLIFTMENT. Uttoron undertakes and promotes social / cultural events unique to Bengal and India. Its activities supports the uniqueness of the diverse US cultural canvas and help build a bridge between the east and the west. Our mission is to promote and contribute to cultural, religious, literary, educational and charitable activities with particular emphasis on the heritage of Bengal. Uttoron activities spans Greater Seattle area cities like Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, Issaquah, Sammamish, Bothell, Everett, Tacoma, Olympia etc. We welcome participation of Bengalis coming from various regions of India and Bangladesh.
